About Scenns

Scenns teaches Thai cooking & Thai dance and Thai language skills to small groups or 1:1, in a cool, spacious classroom;

Scenns language lessons utilising movement, song, conventional blackboard and other techniques: the basics: Thai alphabet, tones, vocabulary & conversation.

Lessons cover: art & culture in Thai language, generational, historic & foreign influences, Thai etiquette, titles & greetings; word significance, vocabulary & usage.

Also included: the colloquial, rural vs urban language & verbal habits, Thai idioms & humour, temple language & untranslatable vocabulary.

The environment is conducive to study as you will be at the heart of nature; within the amazing Western Forest Complex (WFC), over 7,000 square. miles, with 11 national parks and 6 wildlife sanctuaries, two are UNESCO World Heritage sites; an incredibly rich & biodiverse
wild habitat; just five hours drive from Bangkok.

Classes are held in a cool country house with a large garden touching the lake
