Mystic Quartz is mostly confused with Mystic Topaz, but that is a misconception. White Quartz ( which comes in raw form ) and White Topaz comes in another form, they both give the same result, which is the Mystic color if applied a similar treatment. However, Mystic Topaz is more expensive comparitively because it being topaz as Topaz has a larger specific gravity, of 3-4 which means its 30% more heavier than Mystic Quartz. This is the reason of the abundant use of Mystiq quartz compared to Mystic Topaz, as it weighs lesser for an exactly the same size of Topaz.
